Job descriptionDesign and deploy advanced security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS) Configure and optimize security protocols across routers, switches, and other network devices Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify risks and recommend solutions Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align cybersecurity measures with organizational objectives Lead incident response activities during security breaches or malware attacks Perform regular updates and patch management of systems and security applications Monitor network traffic to detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts Develop, document, and enforce cybersecurity policies and standard operating procedures Analyze data to support informed decision-making and mitigate risks effectively Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network or information security Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNP Security) preferred Proficiency in configuring firewalls, routers, and security protocols Familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) Experience with security tools like IDS / IPS, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
