HR Onboarding Specialist
Overview :
The Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in ensuring new hires have a smooth, welcoming, and well-organized start with the company. This role connects HR, IT, hiring managers, and employees to manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance to full integration.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Pre-Onboarding
- Send welcome emails and onboarding instructions to new hires
- Ensure all pre-joining formalities (documents, forms) are completed
- Coordinate with recruitment, IT, and facilities for system and access setup
- Schedule onboarding sessions and share joining details
- Track onboarding progress in HR systems
- Liaise with payroll for timely processing
2. Onboarding Execution
Conduct virtual or in-person onboarding sessionsCollect and verify all required documentsGuide new hires on benefits, payroll, and company policies3. Data & Compliance
Maintain accurate records in HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection normsTrack onboarding metrics (e.g., no-shows, completion rates)Prepare reports and dashboards for HR leadership4. Employee Experience
