Accountant (Quickbooks + Payments)

About Us

We are a growing company expanding our operations in Canada and the United States. With many of our accounting processes already automated, we’re looking for a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to support financial operations, manage reconciliations, and handle the more complex accounting and tax matters our systems cannot automate.

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable , including preparing and scheduling payments
• Handle reconciliation of bank, credit card, and payment accounts
• Manage edge cases and exceptions not covered by our automated systems
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support Canadian tax compliance (GST / HST, payroll remittances, year-end filing)
• Assist with U.S. tax-related tasks as we expand into the U.S.
• Maintain accurate classification of transactions and general ledger records
• Identify and suggest improvements to financial workflows and automation logic
