Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Subject Matter Expert specializing in English and Social Studies. The responsibilities include developing, curating, and reviewing content for educational materials, providing training and academic support to educators, ensuring curriculum alignment with academic standards, and conducting research to enhance teaching methodologies. The role requires delivering expertise in the subject areas and maintaining high-quality learning outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities :

Lesson Planning Copilot : Curate curriculum-aligned objectives, activities, and assessments; validate AI-generated lesson plans.

Adaptive Practice Engine : Structure content progressions; review AI-personalized question sets across key subjects (Math, English, EVS).

Auto-Grading Tools : Define rubrics; evaluate AI-marked assessments and feedback for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical relevance.

Must have's :

4–8 years of experience in curriculum design, textbook development, or academic content creation for Grades 1–5

Strong familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, and / or Cambridge curricular frameworks

Clear understanding of learning outcomes, difficulty gradation, and assessment principles

Excellent written English and strong command of pedagogy

Comfort with digital workflows, spreadsheets, and prompt-based AI tools

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise and knowledge in English and Social Studies curriculum
• Proficiency in content creation, curation, and review for academic materials
• Strong research and analytical skills related to educational methodologies and pedagogy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for training and supporting teachers
• Experience in classroom teaching or teacher training is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, English, Social Studies, or a related field
