Senior Software Tester

Job Title : Test Automation Engineer – Tricentis Tosca

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for test management and automation activities, including developing manual test cases, automating test cases, executing test cases, working with development teams, and coordinating with the Quality Center of Excellence (QCOE).

The ideal candidate will have a full knowledge of test management tools such as Jira, qTest, qTest Explorer, qTest Launch, Tosca, DEX, LiveCompare, and Sauce Labs.

Main Responsibilities :

• Developing manual test cases for assigned applications
• Leading discussions and communicating with test leads, scrum masters, project managers, business partners, and application developers
• Decomposing user stories to develop and design robust test cases and complete test scenarios
• Executing manual test cases in qTest and documenting results
• Reporting bugs in Jira linked to qTest projects
• Executing automated test cases in Tosca leveraging existing integrated technologies
• Coordinating with the QCOE for peer review of test design strategy, automated test cases, and adoption / adherence of standards and best practices
• Performing unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing activities

Requirements :

Minimum 5 years of experience in test management areas and test automation, proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies, and frameworks in support of Agile / SAFe / DevOps / DevSecOps development methodologies.

Desired Skills :

Exposure to Java, C#, Selenium, Appium, Webservices / API, Vision AI, HTML, CSS, Agile methodologies, Jira, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications Required :

qTest, qTest Automation Specialist, Introduction to qTest Explorer, Tricentis Automation Specialist Level 1, Automation Specialist Level 2, Test Design Specialist Level 1, Test Design Specialist Level 2, Automation Engineer Level 1, and Automation Specialist for API.

Education :

Bachelor's degree or job-related experience.
