Area Sales Manager - Overview
This is a full-time remote role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, establishing customer relationships, and achieving sales goals.
The Area Sales Manager will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activity, and for providing feedback to senior management about product development and marketing.
Great opportunity for experienced Sales and Marketing Managers to further grow and improve their understanding in FMCG space (Spices and Food Items).
Job Responsibilities :
- Developing And controlling overall Sales & Marketing Activities.
- Should be indenpently be able to appoint stockists / distributors and establish general trade network in the area.
- Preparing deliverables and targets for all team members.
- Developing marketing strategies and plans to achieve sale targets.
- Training the field staff and monitoring their activities.
- Monitoring and ensuring primary and secondary targets are met.
- Sales Forecasting at monthly, quarterly and annual level.
- Onboarding new Stockists and distributors and managing them.
- Responsible for collecting payments from channel partners.
- Ensuring timely reporting to management.
- Work collaboratively across teams - including Sales, Marketing and Support team.
- Good communication in Hindi, English and local language.
Qualifications
Proven track record in sales management and customer relationship managementExperience in the food industry, specifically in spices, is preferredExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
