The Role
Job Description :
System Validation engineers in this group are responsible for driving validation specifications & methodology and deliver on the validation of subsystems for the next generation of compute solution. Working in a highly focused group, you will help validate our next generation compute solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies and tools. You will work closely with architecture, design, verification, Implementation, modelling, performance analysis, SW development, FPGA and Board development engineers.
Responsibilities :
As a creative engineer with a demonstrated knowledge of SoC Validation containing multi core processors as well as high speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR , USB etc, you will be owning validation of IP / complex subsystems in systems’ environment and developing robust validation methodology for subsystems / solutions.
Key responsibilities will include owning Validation plan, developing and performing the test content, finding bugs, running various validation checks against power / performance targets across nominal and permitted PVT corners.
Work with the Architecture and verification teams to review validation plans and own debugging design issues of SoC.
Close collaboration with the performance analysis team to evaluate and improve system performance.
Expected to contribute to develop and enhance the validation methodologies for efficient silicon / system Validation.
