Solutions Architect

The Lead Architect will serve as the

single point of contact

for all technical solutions and escalations related to

cloud migrations . This role ensures alignment between customer objectives and delivery outcomes, driving successful large-scale cloud migration and transformation programs. The Lead Architect will oversee end-to-end migration governance, define strategies, and mentor teams to deliver technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Governance

Lead solution governance across the migration lifecycle, ensuring consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.

Define the overall migration / repatriation strategy and roadmaps to support customer modernization goals.

Lead Architecture Review board for critical design decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.

Act as the primary escalation point for all technical solutioning and architecture-related decisions.

Customer & Stakeholder Alignment

Ensure alignment between customer objectives and delivery outcomes, building trust and strong partnerships.

Act as a bridge between account teams, program managers, and customer stakeholders, ensuring clarity in communication and expectations.

Represent the technical organization in executive reviews, steering committees, and governance boards.

Team Enablement & Mentoring

Function as a technical enabler, guiding architects and engineers on complex solutioning and delivery challenges.

Mentor and coach team members, driving continuous upskilling on emerging Azure and cloud-native technologies.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence across squads and capabilities.

Cross-Capability Collaboration

Ensure seamless integration and delivery across infrastructure, networking, application, and database teams.

Drive standards, frameworks, and reusable IPs for consistent delivery across multiple migration projects.

Collaborate with program and project managers to align technical execution with governance and timelines.

Thought Leadership & Innovation

Provide strategic thought leadership in Azure migrations, modernization, and cloud adoption best practices.

Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and accelerators to optimize migration efficiency and outcomes.

Champion adoption of IaC (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), DevOps pipelines, and automation-first approaches.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 20+ years of overall IT experience , with significant focus on architecture and leadership roles.

Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (mandatory) .

Proven expertise in Cloud Migrations (applications, databases, and infrastructure). Azure Migration experience is mandatory.

Hands-on experience in at least three or more of the following :

Azure Infrastructure, Networking, Application Modernization, Databases

Strong working knowledge of (2 or many) :

Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep Templates

Demonstrated experience in governing large migration programs with strong customer engagement.

Ability to mentor teams and build a high-performance culture.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working with large-scale, global migration and transformation programs.

Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures alongside

Azure .

Strong understanding of enterprise governance frameworks (security, compliance, cost management).

Proven ability to provide strategic architectural guidance while balancing business and technical priorities.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills for influencing senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated success in leading architecture review boards (ARB) and driving consensus on critical design decisions.

Track record of mentoring and developing architects / technical leaders in distributed teams.

Experience with innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
