Job description3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong expertise in ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) . Proficiency in CDS views, OData services, and Fiori / UI5 integration . Good understanding of S / 4HANA ABAP programming and performance optimization. Experience in RAP transactional scenarios (create, update, delete operations). Knowledge of ABAP OO concepts and modern ABAP syntax. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a freelance / contract setup. Exposure to CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) . Experience in SAP Cloud Platform or other SAP extensions. Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Contract / Freelance role with flexible engagement models. About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant to join our team on a contract / freelance basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing RAP-based solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement applications using SAP ABAP RAP framework .
- Build OData services using RAP and ensure seamless integration with SAP Fiori / UI5.
- Develop CDS views, BOPF objects, and annotations in the RAP environment.
- Optimize RAP applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support for RAP-related issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, quality assurance, and best practices adoption.
