At OpenTrain, we partner with AI companies to develop safer and smarter systems. We seek Mathematics QA / AI Trainers to review math prompts, model responses, and verify step-by-step reasoning.

Job Responsibilities

Audit math Q&A items and model outputs for correctness, completeness, notation, and structure.
Evaluate responses against detailed rubrics, assign ratings, and write concise rationales.
Draft improved prompts, reference solutions, and error-aware feedback.
Run quick validations in Python using functions, sanity checks, NumPy, SymPy, and Pandas.
Flag edge cases, propose rubric refinements, and maintain dataset consistency across topics.

Requirements

3+ years in mathematics, applied math, or quantitative roles (e.g., research, analytics, teaching).

Bachelor's degree in Math or related fields (Master's / PhD preferred).

Hands-on Python skills for quick checks / validation.

Ability to evaluate algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics reasoning.

Meticulous with mathematical notation, proofs, and solution structure.

Clear written English; comfortable following strict QA rubrics and writing constructive feedback.

Reliable computer / internet access.
