Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, vendors, and partners.
- Evaluate and source products / services based on business requirements and specifications.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers, ensuring competitive and favorable conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the continuity of supply and service.
- Assess supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement strategies.
- Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, production) to understand supply needs.
- Monitor industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Review bids and proposals, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Support the organization in achieving its sourcing objectives, including cost reduction and quality improvement.
