The Developer specializing in IBM Sterling will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining order management systems (OMS) within an agile delivery environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements and enhance fulfilment operations. The Developer will also ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the IBM Sterling platform.
THE GIG :
As a Lead Engineer Fulfilment, you will :
- Design, develop, and maintain OMS solutions using IBM Sterling.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement customizations and integrations to enhance the functionality of the IBM Sterling platform.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the IBM Sterling platform.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the solutions developed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Continuously improve development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Must-Have Skills :
Proven experience as a Developer with expertise in IBM Sterling.Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS) technologies.Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to IBM Sterling (e.G., Java, XML, XSLT).Experience with integration technologies and APIs.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to create detailed technical documentation.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in IBM Sterling and related technologies.Experience with programming languages such as Java, XML, and XSLT.Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.G., JIRA, Confluence).Knowledge of integration technologies and APIs.Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.G., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Soft Skills :
