Network Engineer- Patching / Upgradation

Job descriptionExpertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, STP, VLANs) and broad exposure to firewall / VPN technologies. Hands-on experience with firmware / OS upgrades of major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto). Strong change management : ability to plan and risk assess, coordinate maintenance windows, and perform rollbacks. Experience with patch deployment, Patch Management / ugradation verification, and monitoring. Proficiency with network monitoring / logging / alerting tools for observing device health, firmware versions, and performance metrics. Strong communication skills. Patch Management / ugradation Routing & switching expertise Firewall / VPN technologies exposure Firmware / OS upgrades experience Change management skills Patch deployment and management experience Network monitoring proficiency Strong communication skills Experience with major network vendors Ability to perform rollbacks Monitoring and alerting tools experience
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure.

About the Role
