Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience in manual, functional, and regression testing for both

web and mobile applications. Knowledge of Automation tools is a plus. You will work closely

with developers and product teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality

and usability.

Key Responsibilities :

 Execute manual, functional, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.

 Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.

 Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla or Azure DevOps.

 Perform smoke testing, sanity testing, and re-testing after bug fixes.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases.

 Participate in review meetings to provide feedback on product design and functionality.

 Ensure complete coverage of requirements and maintain traceability matrices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field.

 3–4 years of experience in manual testing.

 Strong understanding of functional, regression, and usability testing.

 Experience testing web and mobile (Android / iOS) applications.

 Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, TestRail, Azure DevOps ).

 Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

 Exposure to API testing (Postman) and SQL for backend validation.

 Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

 Understanding of automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a plus.
