Job description

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects across multiple modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP solutions, excellent leadership and communication skills, and hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise projects using standard methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, manage, and deliver end-to-end SAP projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports .
  • Manage project governance , ensuring adherence to PMO standards, change management, and quality assurance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI / CO, HCM, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and BTP.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business readiness for go-live.
  • Monitor and control project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates to leadership.
  • Ensure effective post-implementation support and handover to operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years of project management experience in SAP implementations or rollouts.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA , SAP ECC , or SAP Cloud solutions .
  • Proven track record of delivering projects using Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in global environments and manage onsite-offshore delivery models .

    • Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

  • Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Analytics Cloud .
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations .
  • Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
