Senior Test Automation Engineer

Role : Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (Python Developer)

Job Location : Bangalore (hybrid)

Acuity Knowledge Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior SDE-T with Python language to join our Data and Technology Service s team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable test automation frameworks and has deep expertise in Python, database testing, and quality engineering practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases through automation and continuous testing. .

Experience Level : 5-9 years

Notice period : 0-15 Days (Immediate Joiners highly preferred)

Mandatory skills :

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting. Proven experience in building modular, scalable test frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and writing / debugging stored procedures.
• Experience with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or custom Python scripts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI / CD tools, and test management platforms.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar Python-based test frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.G., JMeter, Locust).
