About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead our digital commerce growth across leading online marketplaces and our company-owned website. This role is central to achieving revenue goals, driving brand visibility, and delivering a seamless shopper experience. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with operational excellence to maximize sales, market share, and customer engagement in the fast-evolving e-commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Delivery
- Own and deliver channel-wide revenue and market share targets across leading platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, BigBasket, Myntra, and others).
- Partner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to co-create and execute joint business plans.
- Make strategic commercial and marketing decisions to achieve business objectives.
2. Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement high-impact marketing plans tailored to each platform.Lead performance marketing campaigns (Search, Display, PPC, SEO) to maximize ROI.Manage campaign calendars, promotional events, and seasonal sales activations.Build best-in-class content (A+ content, imagery, copy) to influence shopper behavior.Conduct competitor benchmarking, shopper analysis, and trend forecasting.3. E-Commerce Product & Brand Management
Optimize product cataloging, listings, and assortment strategies across portals.Enhance customer journeys through improved navigation, organic search optimization, and ratings / reviews management.Manage agencies / freelancers for creative assets, SEO, ads, and performance deliverables.Ensure smooth execution of new product launches across platforms.4. Data & Insights
Track daily / weekly / monthly performance metrics and derive actionable insights.Monitor SCANR (Sales, Content, Availability, Navigation, Ratings / Reviews) to improve visibility and conversions.Experiment, measure, and scale innovative e-commerce initiatives.5. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Innovation, Finance, Regulatory, Operations) to drive e-commerce growth.Partner with external stakeholders (Agencies, Platform Teams, Affiliates) to maximize performance.Act as a brand ambassador in e-commerce forums, ensuring best practices and innovation adoption.Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.Expertise in performance marketing (PPC, PPM, SEO, Search optimization).Understanding of D2C, B2C, Drop Ship, FBA, and marketplace operational models.Proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools and platform dashboards.Behavioral Traits
Qualification : Graduate (MBA / PGDM preferred)
