Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based backend applications using the Symphony framework.
  • Design and implement database schemas, queries, and procedures with MariaDB.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment processes.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP backend development.
  • Strong expertise in the Symphony framework.
  • Proficiency in MariaDB, including database design, queries, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of other database systems (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Previous experience in Gen AI projects or related fields
