Job Description : Team Lead (PHP & JavaScript)

Technocrats Horizons is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead (PHP & JavaScript) to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, setting technical direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality web applications.

This role requires strong expertise in PHP (Laravel / CodeIgniter) and JavaScript frameworks (React.js / Node.js), along with leadership skills to mentor and guide the team.

The candidate should have a problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Experience Required : 6+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and mentor a team of PHP and JavaScript developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Define coding standards, architecture practices, and best development methodologies.
Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and JavaScript.
Work with frameworks such as Laravel / CodeIgniter (PHP) and React.js / Node.js (JavaScript).
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with overall architecture.
Plan sprints, prioritize tasks, and manage resource allocation effectively.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side operations.
Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Must-Have Skills :

Strong expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter).

Proficiency in JavaScript (React.js, Node.js, ES6+ concepts).

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.

Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery).

Familiarity with cloud hosting services (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).

Expertise in Git and version control workflows.

Experience in leading teams and delivering multiple projects successfully.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

Experience with Vue.js or Angular.

Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and Docker.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Understanding of UI / UX best practices.

Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest, Mocha).

Education Required :

Graduate : B.Tech / B.E / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
