Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Engineer - Public Health to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of public health infrastructure projects, focusing on improving community health and well-being through engineering solutions.
- Assist in the design and planning of public health engineering projects, including water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and waste management infrastructure
- Conduct site surveys and collect data for project planning and analysis
- Utilise CAD software to create technical drawings and plans for public health infrastructure
- Analyse and interpret data related to environmental health factors and community needs
- Support senior engineers in project management and coordination with various stakeholders
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Ensure compliance with local and national environmental health and safety regulations
- Participate in community outreach programmes to educate the public on health and sanitation practices
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented public health engineering solutions
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in public health engineering
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field0-2 years of experience in public health engineering or a related fieldStrong knowledge of public health engineering principles and practicesProficiency in CAD software and project management toolsSolid understanding of water and sanitation systemsExcellent data analysis and interpretation skillsFamiliarity with environmental health and safety regulationsKnowledge of water quality management and waste management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications in public health engineering (desirable)Willingness to travel to project sites as requiredSkills Required
