Role Overview :

Seeking a Hitachi L2 Storage Engineer (5+ years) to manage mission-critical storage infrastructure in a regulated, low-latency financial environment . The role focuses on day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution for trading and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and support Hitachi storage systems (VSP, VSP G Series, HUS / AMS) in primary DC and DR sites .
• Perform L2 operations including volume management, LUN provisioning, masking, replication setup (TrueCopy, ShadowImage) .
• Monitor storage health, performance, and resolve L2 faults under strict SLAs .
• Collaborate with server, network, and application teams for seamless storage integration.
• Participate in backup, replication, and DR testing to ensure high availability.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and audit-ready documentation for compliance.
• Assist in storage patching, firmware upgrades, and minor configuration changes .
