Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Project Delivery

• Translate the Design Director's creative vision into clear, actionable design strategies
  
  

and guide teams from concept through execution

• Oversee all phases of design projects, including concept development, space planning,
  
  

material selection, documentation, procurement support, and installation

• Ensure design solutions meet functional, aesthetic, regulatory, and brand requirements
• Review and approve design packages, specifications, drawings, and presentations
• Maintain design intent throughout procurement, construction, and project opening
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices
  
  

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers and junior staff
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, coaching, and professional development

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

construction teams for accurate execution

• Support business development efforts, including proposals, pitches, and client presentations
  
  

Project & Operational Management

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple projects
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all design deliverables
• Participate in site visits to support technical execution and resolve on-site challenges
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high design
  
  

Standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 8–10+ years of professional interior design experience, including leadership or people
  
  

management experience

• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven, high-quality, and technically sound work
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe
  
  

Creative Suite, etc.)

• Solid understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding design on high-profile projects
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, external consultants, clients,
