As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist III within Payments Operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.
Job Responsibilities :
- Process with accuracy, care, and precision, and aim for 'zero defects' or no mistakes in work processed.
- Work under the direction of a manager to ensure that the team is meeting its predefined goals in terms of service level agreement (SLA), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Deliver 'Metrics That Matter' with consistent tracking and reporting.
- Handle critical client escalations regarding all billing-related concerns.
- Ensure regular preparation and reporting of business reviews.
- Work towards achieving current billing operations targets in partnership with the different operations teams, regional / LOB partners, functional groups, risk, and / or technology contacts.
- Learn the various systems used, processes performed, and reports completed. Possess a sound understanding of operational risk / control.
- Identify opportunities to preclude the occurrence of any client-impacting error.
- Assist with design, testing, and project plans for all new automation efforts and process improvement initiatives.
- Actively participate in FAST meetings and team huddles. Escalate issues timely to management.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities :
Bachelor's degree is requiredMinimum 4 years of banking operations and financial service experienceAbility to use mainframe and common PC based software packages including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust be a team player with strong attention to details, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently within a team conceptFlexible with any shift including WHEM (Night shift)Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities :
