Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and WordPress.
  • Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across Laravel and WordPress platforms.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to implement responsive UI / UX designs.
  • Implement database design and queries for both MySQL and other relational databases.
  • Follow best coding practices, version control (Git), and documentation standards.
  • Stay updated with latest trends in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and web development.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in web development using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
  • Strong expertise in Laravel framework including MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, routing, middleware, and Blade templates.
  • Proficient in WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery; experience with frontend frameworks is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases and writing optimized queries.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.
  • Understanding of web security best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

    • Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Angular for frontend integration.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with Linux server environments, Apache / Nginx, and hosting deployment.
  • Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
