Software Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage a team of engineers and cybersecurity professionals focused on product security for cardiac medical devices .

Define and execute a comprehensive product security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory needs.

Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, Regulatory) to integrate security across the product lifecycle.

Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and risk-based assessments .

Establish and maintain security standards, frameworks, and best practices for product development and deployment.

Drive secure design and architecture for new and released products (embedded, mobile, cloud, web).

Stay ahead of industry trends to inform futuristic security strategies .

Communicate complex security concepts to executive leadership, customers, and regulators.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's in Engineering / Computer Science (Master's preferred).

15+ years' experience in engineering or cybersecurity, with expertise in product security in regulated industries .

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance (FDA, GDPR, MDR, etc.).

Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable :

Certifications : CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent .

Experience with IoT, embedded devices, mobile and cloud security architectures .

Familiarity with SOC practices, incident management, and international security regulations .

Prior experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
