Job descriptionMinimum 4–6 years of experience in a similar role within a fine dining or Michelin-recognized Italian restaurant. Strong knowledge of wines, particularly Italian varietals, regions, and pairings. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience in cost control, supplier negotiations, and team development. A strong passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence in service. A certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (for example : Introductory, Certified, Advanced, or Master Sommelier level)
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Beverage Manager to lead the beverage program for an upcoming independent Italian restaurant in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and wines, along with experience in internationally acclaimed fine dining establishments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive beverage program aligned with the restaurant’s Italian concept.
- Curate an exceptional wine list with a strong focus on Italian and international selections.
- Oversee all aspects of beverage operations, including procurement, inventory management, costing, and supplier relationships.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding beverage service and product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and management teams to deliver a cohesive and elevated guest experience.
- Continuously monitor market trends and guest preferences to innovate and enhance the beverage offerings.
