The ideal candidate will be adept at designing schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer, with a proven track record in delivering robust hardware solutions for complex electronic systems. You will join a well-established startup poised for significant growth over the next 2 to 3 years, contributing to innovative product development in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review detailed schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Lead the end-to-end hardware design process, from concept through to prototyping, testing, and production release.
• Apply strong digital and analogue design principles to create reliable, high-performance hardware solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration and manufacturability of hardware designs.
• Perform design validation, debugging, and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and signal generators.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design files, Active BOMs, and test procedures, in compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure designs meet relevant EMC, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CE, FCC, UKCA).
• Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) initiatives.Essential Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in hardware design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Expert proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• In-depth knowledge of both digital and analogue circuit design.
• Experience with high-speed digital design, power supply design, and signal integrity analysis.
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Immediate availability is highly desirable.Desirable Skills :
• Experience with other CAD tools (e.g., Or CAD, Mentor Graphics, Ki CAD).
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards and certification processes.
