Job Title : Informatica Developer

Experience : 7+ Years

Location : Hyderabad / Bangalore

Mode : Hybrid / Work from office

Position : C2H (One Year)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Informatica MDM / IICS MDM Specialist to design, implement, and manage master data solutions. The candidate will work across Informatica SaaS and on?premises Core MDM platforms, and ensure high data quality using Informaticas Data Quality tools. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects, and technical teams, to deliver robust, scalable, and governed master data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, implementation, and configuration of Informatica MDM solutions (both Core MDM and SaaS MDM / Cloud MDM)
  • Use IICS MDM / IDMC for cloud?based master data management and integrations
  • Define, configure and manage data models, profiles, match & merge / survivorship rules, hierarchies, and base / relationship objects
  • Set up and utilize data governance frameworks, data stewardship, workflows and business rules for master data
  • Ensure high standards of data quality : profiling of source data, cleansing, normalization, validation, rejection handling, monitoring, and reporting using Informatica DQ / IDQ / CDQ
  • Integrate MDM with other systems batch, APIs, real?time, on?prem & cloud applications
  • Performance tuning, ensuring scalability, managing volumes, optimizing Job performance
  • Troubleshoot issues : data anomalies, job failures, system performance, user, and stakeholder concerns
  • Maintain technical documentation : solution architecture, configuration details, user?exits, workflows, data lineage, audit trail
  • Provide mentorship / guidance to junior team members, and collaborate closely with cross?functional teams (BI / analytics / source systems / operations)

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of hands?on experience in Informatica MDM (Core / On?Prem), SaaS MDM, and cloud?based MDM (IICS / IDMC) implementations
  • Strong experience with Informatica Data Quality (DQ / IDQ / CDQ) : profiling, cleansing, rules, monitoring
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, hierarchies, match & merge / survivorship rules, relationship objects etc.
  • Experience configuring MDM Hub / Data Director / Business 360 / Reference 360 or equivalent components
  • Ability to develop with User Exits, custom code (Java or similar) where needed
  • Proficient in SQL, relational databases, possibly hands?on scripting or lightweight development (e.g. PL / SQL, shell, etc.)
  • Understanding of integrating systems via APIs, batch jobs, possibly event driven / real?time interfaces
  • Familiar with data governance, master data lifecycle, stewardship, audit, traceability
  • Strong analytical and problem's olving skills; ability to debug and resolve production issues
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work with technical & non?technical stakeholders

    • Preferred / Nice to Have :

  • Certifications in Informatica MDM, IICS / IDMC, or Informatica Data Quality tools
  • Experience with Agile / DevOps / CI?CD pipelines in context of data / MDM projects
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) especially for MDM SaaS / IICS deployments
  • Experience in industries with heavy regulatory or compliance requirements (finance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability, and large data volume handling
