Location : Remote / Kochi / Trivandrum

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Python scripting to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role involves working on data-intensive projects, building automation scripts, and ensuring high performance and accuracy across data systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL for analytics and reporting.
  • Write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
  • Build and maintain reliable data pipelines to support business intelligence and data science teams.
  • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and debugging to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation frameworks to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Work on complete lifecycle of 23 data projects, from architecture to deployment.
  • Explore and leverage AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions for workflow automation (good to have).

Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in SQL with 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in Python scripting for automation and data handling.
  • Hands-on experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and data integrity principles.
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting large-scale data systems.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Exposure to AWS cloud services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
