Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering radiation therapy to cancer patients using advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, and SRS / SBRT.
- Evaluate patient cases, review diagnostic images, and collaborate with medical and surgical oncologists to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Participate in simulation, contouring, treatment planning, and on-treatment reviews under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Monitor patient response to therapy, manage side effects, and make timely modifications to treatment as required.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment plans, patient assessments, and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and institutional guidelines.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, case discussions, journal clubs, and clinical audits.
- Provide compassionate care and counseling to patients and their families throughout the course of treatment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiation oncology, techniques, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBBS with MD / DNB in Radiation Oncology from a recognized institution.0 to 4 years of relevant experience in radiation oncology; fresh postgraduates are encouraged to apply.Familiarity with treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, Monaco) and linear accelerator operation.Strong interest in academics, clinical research, and quality patient care.Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Skills Required
