Requirements

Design, implement, and maintain Windows server infrastructure
Monitor and support Windows server environment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
Ensure high availability, security, and performance of Windows server infrastructure
Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute server upgrades and migrations
Participate in the development and implementation of server-related policies and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff
Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in Windows server management

Responsibilities

Windows Server experience (approx 95% windows server estate)

IIS Web services

Understanding of .NET and .NET Core configuration files (connection strings etc)

Good working knowledge of Powershell

Understanding of DFS file replication

Hyper-V / System Center Virtual Machine Manager

Windows Failover Clustering

Redis

RabbitMQ

Basic understanding of subnets / VLANs and how logical networks work with Hyper-V

Network routing at the server level

Most importantly - Be friendly and approachable

Required Languages

Advance 80-95 %
