Job description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with solid experience in developing enterprise-grade applications using Java (Spring Framework), Python, or Node.Js. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AI integration, containerized deployments, and cloud-based environments, along with a deep understanding of design principles, patterns, and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise applications.
Implement solutions using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and / or Node.Js frameworks.
Integrate AI capabilities within applications and utilize AI-driven tools during development and testing.
Architect, build, and maintain microservices-based systems using modern design and coding standards.
Work closely with front-end, DevOps, and data teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural and coding best practices.
Deploy, monitor, and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Participate actively in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience in backend development for enterprise-level applications.

Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Framework), Python, or Node.Js.

Demonstrated experience in integrating AI / ML components into applications.

Proven track record of working on commercial, large-scale enterprise projects.

Sound understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.

Experience deploying applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

Proficient in RESTful API design, database management, and system integrations.

Soft Skills

Ability to effectively multitask across multiple concurrent projects.

Hands-on experience with Agile-based development methodologies.

Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Problem-solving mindset with an analytical approach to challenges.

Added Advantage

Working knowledge of messaging bus systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

Experience with Elastic data technologies, observability, and monitoring patterns (e.G., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
