The ideal candidate must have a strong command of Maharashtra real estate regulations, excellent government-department coordination skills, and a robust network across key approval-granting authorities.
Requirements
Desired Profile
Graduate / Postgraduate in Civil Engineering , Urban Planning , Architecture , or related field (preferred).
Minimum 12 years of experience in liaisoning, statutory approvals, or regulatory management for real estate or infrastructure projects in Mumbai / MMR .
Strong connections and working relationships with authorities such as BMC , SRA , MMRDA , MHADA , MPCB , CFO , and other local bodies.
Thorough knowledge of :
DCPR 2034
IOD / CC / OC processes
Environmental and fire NOC requirements
Land records, revenue processes, and due-diligence norms
Exceptional communication, government-interaction, and negotiation skills.
High integrity, ethical conduct, and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Job Description About the Role We are seeking an experienced Liaisoning Head to oversee and manage all statutory and regulatory approvals related to residential and mixed-use real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of government processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong network across departments relevant to real estate development. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end liaisoning process for multiple real estate projects, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with all applicable regulations. Coordinate with government bodies, local authorities, and statutory departments such as BDA, BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB, KSPCB, Fire Department, etc. Manage due diligence for land and project approvals including zoning, building permits, commencement certificates, and occupancy certificates. Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials to ensure smooth and transparent interactions. Stay updated with changes in urban development, environment, and building laws affecting the project lifecycle. Work closely with design, project management, and legal teams to ensure documentation and submission requirements are accurately met. Prepare approval trackers, monitor project timelines, and escalate issues proactively to management. Represent the organization in meetings and inspections with government authorities. Provide strategic input to management for regulatory planning and risk mitigation.
