Position : Email Security
Experience : 5+ years.
Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore.
Job Description :
- In depth understanding and deployment experience with Mimecast email Security Solution and Similar tools.
- Act as final escalation point (L3) for all Mimecast-related incidents, requests, and problems.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting of advanced email issues (routing, delivery delays, false positives / negatives, impersonation, malware, phishing, BEC).
- Lead RCA and post-incident reviews, ensuring preventive measures are documented and implemented.
- Perform complex changes in Mimecast, including policy tuning, integration with SIEM / SOAR, DLP rules, and encryption configurations.
- Manage continuity and disaster recovery scenarios in Mimecast.
- Experience in designing email Security solution for a global coverage with multiple domains
- Good experience in email security solutions - architecture, design and implementation plans and daily Operations
- Act as a technical point of contact for escalated customer issues and high-priority incidents.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings, service reviews, and escalations to provide technical guidance and confidence.
- Document and present RCA reports, security posture improvements, and recommendations to customers.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders from Security, Operations, Application Owners and Service Providers on deployment activities and enhancing the email Security solution.
- Understanding of associated industry standards and best practices in Email Security area
- Good understanding of email security concepts SPF, DKIM, DMARC, policies based on regex etc.,
- Must have expert knowledge of the Messaging & Collaboration environments in order to be routinely involved in root cause analysis whenever issues arise in the production environment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1 and L2 engineers.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting playbooks for repetitive tasks.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops for L1 and L2 teams.
- Effective in delivering solutions and providing speedy turn around when required
- Must Engaged in identifying configuration and documentation best practices
- Identifying system and customer problems, troubleshooting and providing solutions and then documenting those solutions.
- Analyze new threats and offer deep insight through data
- Participate in security reviews, compliance checks, and audit support as the Mimecast SME.
- Provide feedback to engineering and security leadership on improvements for processes, automation, and tooling.
- Stay updated with new threats, features, and best practices in Mimecast and email security.
- Minimum 7 + years and must be a technical and subject matter expert with L3 operations experience in supporting the stated platforms.
