Mobile QA Automation Engineer

THIS IS A LONG CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

We are seeking an experienced Mobile QA Automation Engineer to support the Mobile Platform team in delivering high-quality, high-performing mobile app releases. In this role, you will lead functional and automated testing, maintain automation frameworks, and ensure smooth release cycles for critical mobile applications used globally.

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of overall experience, including 3+ years of relevant Mobile QA Automation experience

Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks

Experience creating, upgrading, and maintaining mobile test automation suites

Knowledge of mobile testing across Android and iOS environments

Strong understanding of RC (release candidate) testing, regression, and performance validations

Familiarity with device farms, cloud testing tools, and bug-tracking platforms

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead QA standards for all functional and automated testing across Mobile Platform releases

Provide testing coverage, communication, and sign-off for high-quality mobile app releases

Perform functional testing for new features, enhancements, and release cycles

Provide automation support for Mobile Platform RC testing, mobile QA testing, and special test initiatives

Maintain and improve mobile automation tools, frameworks, and test case suites

Create and maintain automation for app functionality, new features, and performance validations

Monitor and maintain scheduled automated test runs to identify issues / bugs and app performance regressions

Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Database, and others) during testing cycles

Troubleshoot complex QA issues and ensure effective resolution

Work on QA and automation initiatives throughout the year

Ensure smooth collaboration with teams by maintaining 3–4 hours overlap with PST (as required)
