Role Description

You will design, develop and implement enterprise applications on the Oracle Cloud Platform using VBCS and APEX, and manage / optimise backend databases on ATP. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements, build scalable and secure applications, integrate with other systems, ensure high-performance database solutions, and support full-life-cycle delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect and analyse requirements for web / mobile / low-code applications; design UI / UX and data models.
• Develop applications using VBCS (JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML5 / CSS) and APEX (PL / SQL, Forms, Interactive Reports).
• Configure and build backend solutions in ATP database : schema design, PL / SQL packages, tuning, backup / DR, scaling.
• Integrate applications with other cloud services (REST / SOAP APIs), perform data migrations, and use tools such as HDL / ETL where required.
• Work with DevOps practices : version control (Git), CI / CD pipelines, deployments, code reviews and best practices.
• Monitor application performance and database health; troubleshoot, optimise queries, design indexes, and ensure security controls.
• Write technical documentation, assist in testing (unit, UAT), support deployment and post-go-live operations.
• Stay current with Oracle Cloud features (VBCS, APEX, ATP), drive adoption of best practices and improvements.
