Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Design and implement financial strategies that align with Zocket's growth objectives
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Drive financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting to fuel growth initiatives.

Scalable Accounting & Compliance

  • Establish and oversee scalable accounting processes to manage increasing complexity as the company grows.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including tax laws and SaaS-specific standards (SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Lead financial audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting.

    • Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs and growth investments.
  • Develop robust financial models to assess liquidity and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Tax Strategy & Optimization
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings across jurisdictions.
  • Identify opportunities for tax optimization, including cross-border SaaS taxation frameworks.

    • Risk Management & Compliance

  • Develop policies to mitigate financial and operational risks as the company scales.
  • Ensure alignment with SaaS compliance standards, including GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO certifications.

    • Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and innovation.
  • Cultivate a startup mindset while ensuring excellence in execution.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and ensure financial discipline.
  • Prepare and present financial performance updates to the executive team, board, and investors.

    • Operational Efficiency

  • Drive automation of financial processes and implement scalable tools like ERP systems, SaaS billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, SaaSOptics), and advanced reporting frameworks.
