Senior Java Backend Engineer

Job descriptionDesign and develop highly scalable REST based services Design data model, DAO's to talk to database and develop backend code Design and architect the solution, approach and work with the team in delivering a clean and scalable solution Interact with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into detailed design Involve in new integration projects with partners Seek opportunities to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the system by monitoring its behavior Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with QA on design and implementation of manual and automated test processes Follow development processes, coding standards, and methodologies Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation Perform a variety of tasks, and adapts to working on code which is unfamiliar Creative ideas are suggested to solve problems Professional communication skills are utilized, and made a primary focus Experience with AWS or any of the cloud based systems ( Azure, GCP etc.,) Experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms Experience with Docker Experience working with Unix / Linux systems Experience with Maven Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus Experience leveraging open-source tools and technologies

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineer to join an established development team, one who can work independently and deliver the end to end solution . We have challenging work, believe in motivating each other and in having a great team.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Around 5+ years of real-world experience developing enterprise software applications
- Strong Programming skills in Java
- Experience with REST based web services
- Experience with Spring and ORM frameworks like Hibernate
- Experience working with Relational Databases ( SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL etc.,)
- Significant experience in the design and implementation of complex systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development industry
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets
