Job Description
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Direct Tax team in Bangalore responsible for the tax compliance, litigation and governance activity for the Bosch India Group.
Responsibilities will include
- Preparation of Direct Tax Returns, Tax Audit Reports, Advance Tax Computation, Computation of current and deferred tax provisions for statutory audit and group audits
- Analyzing international transactions and preparing transfer pricing returns
- Preparation and compilation of transactions and reports for Global Transfer Pricing Reports
- Organizing mandatory tax documents (Form 10F, Tax Residency Certificates)
- Communicating changes in withholding tax rates and positions to Global Shared Services team
- Performing reconciliations for withholding taxes, general ledger reconciliations and substantiations
- Assisting with tax automation and process-improvements projects
- Assisting in tax litigations – assessments, appeals by collating necessary information and details and preparation of submissions
- Liaising with external tax advisers, statutory auditors for tax for litigations, audits and general tax topics
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (preferred) / Semi-qualified Chartered AccountantMinimum experience of 2 – 4 (for CA) / 5 – 10 (for semi-qualified) working in the Finance Function of a large manufacturing / services industryAdvanced knowledge of Indian direct tax lawsBasic understanding of international tax conceptsGood analytical skills in understanding and interpretation of financial statementsAdvanced knowledge of tools – MS Office, SAP / ERP SoftwareGood communication skills and presentation skills
