JOB OBJECTIVE
Controls by enhancing the accounting and financial processes through collaboration with Finance Community.
Key Accountabilities
Project Management :
- Study the process across the business units to identify and establish best practices in Accounting and Financial processes
- Identify areas of system development and automation and prepare change request / functional specification document specifying the required changes
- Coordinate with ERP Software on development requirements such as discussing the scope and logic of the proposed changes to ensure they meet the group&aposs needs.
- Coordinate project activities with the ERP team, ensuring timely updates on project progress and adherence to established timelines.
- Conduct thorough User Testing once the required developments are delivered by ERP. Coordinate with BSM users doing the testing to ensure that feedback is conveyed to ERP in a timely manner.
- Implement the new process development and support the users during initial implementation phase.
- Coordinate and align process between GSC and IPC in accordance with the standard procedure defined by the group.
Training and Process Improvement
Conduct training sessions for the Accounts and Finance community to ensure that standard procedures and processes are correctly understood and implemented.Prepare scripts and relevant training materials for Accounts and Finance sessions.Update financial manuals and accounting process guidelines.Requirements
Education and Qualifications :
University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalentMaster's Degree in Business / Accounting / Finance or equivalent would be desirableProfessionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) would be an advantageWork Experience
5 years of experience for qualified accountants, preferably Treasury accounting experienceJob-Specific Skills
