Job description

What you ll do :

Administer, manage, and maintain Windows and Linux / Unix servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to operating systems, hardware, and software across Windows and Linux / Unix platforms.
Handle infrastructure-related incidents, providing timely support and resolution for managed issues.
Perform routine system checks, updates, and patch management to ensure security and system integrity.
Utilize basic SQL skills to interact with databases, support queries, and assist with database management tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, troubleshoot problems, and implement best practices.
Maintain and document detailed logs of system configurations, changes, and issues for future reference.
Ensure disaster recovery procedures are implemented and tested regularly to minimize downtime.
Assist in the automation of routine tasks and the improvement of system processes.
Provide support during off-hours for critical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

What you ll likely bring :

Graduation degree

Windows Administration : 2+ Strong experience with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.).

Linux / Unix Administration : 2+ Experience managing and troubleshooting Linux / UNIX based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).

SQL Knowledge : Basic understanding of SQL queries and database operations.

Problem-Solving Skills : Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve infrastructure related issues efficiently.

System Monitoring and Performance Tuning : Experience in monitoring system performance, analyzing logs, and optimizing system resources.

Security Awareness : Knowledge of security best practices for both Windows and Linux systems.

Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and document processes.

What could set you apart :

Experience in the Microsoft suite will be an added advantage.

Database basic knowledge (SQL, Oracle)

Experience in shell scripting and PowerShell

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)

2+ years of experience in Technical / Production Support role
