Job descriptionQualification : B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering. Experience : Minimum 15+ years in API / Chemical Manufacturing , with strong exposure to process engineering and scale-up . Proven experience in leading tech transfer and process validation activities. Strong understanding of unit operations, plant design, and engineering documentation . Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
We are looking for an accomplished professional to lead Process Engineering activities. The role involves overseeing process design, technology transfer, scale-up, and continuous improvement across multiple API manufacturing sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical and process engineering , with deep expertise in basic and detailed engineering, tech transfer, and scale-up of API processes . This position demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on approach to driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the process engineering team across API manufacturing plants.
- Drive technology transfer from R&D to commercial manufacturing, ensuring robust process scale-up.
- Oversee basic and detailed engineering for new and existing API facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance during process design and execution.
- Support capital projects, equipment selection, and plant modification initiatives.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement preventive solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to enhance technical capabilities.
