We are seeking an experienced Performance Tuning Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance optimization and tuning across various systems and applications. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying performance issues and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency.

Responsibilities

Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.
Optimize database queries and indexing strategies.
Work with application developers to improve application performance.
Monitor and report on performance metrics for systems and applications.
Implement performance tuning best practices and guidelines.
Conduct performance testing and benchmarking of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues.

Skills and Qualifications

5-15 years of experience in performance tuning and optimization.

Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).

Proficiency in SQL and query optimization techniques.

Experience with profiling and analyzing application performance.

Familiarity with operating systems and network protocols.

Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics).

Ability to write scripts for automation (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education
