Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building scalable, intelligent, and customer-centric products across Kapiva’s E-commerce and Health Tech platforms . You will own the delivery of key initiatives end-to-end — from design to deployment — while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and AI-driven innovation .

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can balance people leadership, product execution, and the integration of AI and automation into engineering and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of SDEs, SDETs, and DevOps engineers to deliver impactful products and features.
• Drive design and development of scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices , and ensure seamless integration with web and mobile platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to define roadmaps, priorities, and release plans.
• Ensure engineering best practices across code reviews, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement .
• Conduct 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and career development plans for engineers.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and capability building within the team.
• Track engineering metrics (velocity, quality, reliability) to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on architecture, scalability, and timelines.
• Stay hands-on to guide engineers through technical design discussions and reviews.
