Imaging Endpoints is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts; London, UK; Leiden, Netherlands; Basel, Switzerland; Hyderabad, India and Shanghai, China. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Database maintenance and support. Assists in setting up and maintenance of production databases.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and system issues.
- Responds to alerts triggered by failures or warnings in the IT environment : network, storage, backups, servers, databases, etc.
- Performs preventive administration duties to ensure the availability of servers and databases in the data center.
- Works with application administrators for the support and maintenance of various applications such as OsiriX, PACS, Mint Lesion, etc.
- Provides support to various tools used by IT to perform user management functions.
- Ensures backups are successful and recover data as needed; participates in disaster recovery activities.
- Follows SOP documents and provides feedback for process improvements.
- Provides after-hours support.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration.Minimum of 4 years of experience in database administrationMicrosoft certification is preferred.SKILLS
Knowledge of servers and storage solutions.Knowledge of Windows 2016 / 2019, and Active Directory.Proficiency in SQL to create and manage database objects : databases, tables, indexes, views, procedures and functionsDatabase system knowledge of at least one : PostgreSQL and MySQL to monitor system health and performanceFamiliarity with writing scripts and stored procedures for automation and reportingFamiliarity with tools for database health checks, anomaly detection and observability.Knowledge of virtualization and / or AWS services including experience building environments in AWS.Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).Knowledge of tools used in Network Operation Center (NOC) operations.Customer service attitude and front-line support skills.Good communication skills.IMAGING ENDPOINTS’ TEAM CHARACTERISTICS
