Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js.
  • Implement and optimize RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
  • Develop and manage API integrations with third-party service providers and vendors.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and manage critical application data.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Digital Ocean, GCP) with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain modules that ensure low-latency and high-throughput data processing.
  • Work with real-time data feeds, ensuring efficient handling and delivery of time-sensitive information.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and compliance of all backend services.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, emphasizing resilient and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across integrated systems, including external API calls.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time data feeds and external API integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Keen focus on performance, security, and reliability in backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling large-scale, high-availability systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an agile setup.
  • Background or experience in financial systems will be considered a strong advantage.
