Business Development Manager Overview :

Rachna Sagar Pvt. Ltd. is a leading name in the education and publishing industry, committed to delivering high-quality learning solutions. We are looking for dynamic Business Development professionals who can drive sales, strengthen market presence, and build long-term relationships with schools, institutes, and distributors.

Role Summary :

The Business Development Manager / Associate will be responsible for expanding market reach, promoting educational products, and ensuring strong revenue growth across assigned regions. The role demands strategic sales planning, client engagement, and the ability to deliver consistent business results.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Strategy & Growth : Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Development : Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and penetrate new markets across schools, institutes, and distributors.
  • Client Engagement : Conduct product presentations, briefings, and workshops for schools, teachers, and decision-makers.
  • Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-term partnerships with clients to drive repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence : Conduct research to track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Product and Editorial teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Brand Representation : Represent the company at educational fairs, exhibitions, and events to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to meet business goals.

Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and build trusted relationships.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively (PAN India).
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the publishing or education sector.
