Technical Service Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Service Engineer with a specialization in Vehicle Parts & Lighting to handle the design and development of lighting systems and plastic / sheet metal parts. You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory norms, and defining the DVP (Design Verification Plan) . This role requires the ability to manage part layout and packaging from the concept stage to the final design, while meeting targets for performance, quality, cost, and weight.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Design & Development : Ensure the development of lighting systems and plastic / sheet metal parts for all projects. Design specific lighting components like headlamps, tail lamps, and indicator lamps, meeting targets for performance, quality, cost, and weight.
• Layout & Packaging : Manage the layout and packaging of parts within the vehicle from the concept stage to the final design, considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and styling intent.
• Coordination : Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and electronics teams, to define interface requirements.
• Compliance & Validation : Ensure compliance with all regulatory norms. Define the DVP (Design Verification Plan) and ensure its completion.
