QualiTLabs - Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Cypress / Javascript / TypeScript

Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Cypress using JavaScript / TypeScript, along with a strong foundation in web technologies and API testing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation, CI / CD pipelines, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Perform thorough UI automation testing by utilising a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Cypress's built-in API commands
• Integrate automation tests into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
• Investigate and debug test failures, document defects clearly, and follow through to resolution
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and test environments to support scalable Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript / TypeScript
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM
• Proficient in API testing using Postman or Cypress
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Solid communication skills to collaborate across teams
• Experience working with CI / CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions (mandatory)
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
