Role : Boomi Developer

Experience : 6+years

Location : Kochi / Remote

Job Description

  • We are looking for a proactive Boomi Developer with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
  • The candidate should be well-versed in best practices for integration development, data transformation, and API integration across cloud and on-premises systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop end-to-end integration processes using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
  • Develop and expose RESTful APIs and integrate 3rd party APIs.
  • Perform data mapping and transformation across multiple data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, EDI).
  • Implement error handling, logging, alerting, and retry strategies.
  • Manage Boomi Atoms, Molecules, and Clouds across multiple environments.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide Boomi-specific design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with QA for integration testing and with DevOps teams for CI / CD automation.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide Level 2 / 3 support.
  • Document integration design patterns, configurations, and support models.
  • Mentor junior developers and review integration code / processes.

    • Required Skills :

  • 5+ years of hands-on Boomi experience.
  • Strong expertise in API design, development, and security.
  • Experience with database integrations (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and modern authentication mechanisms.
  • Understanding of middleware patterns (pub / sub, messaging queues, webhooks).
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and Git-based deployment strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Duties to be performed

  • Design complex Boomi integrations using AtomSphere platform.
  • Leverage various Boomi connectors and integration patterns for a variety of scenarios, including cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premises, and on-premises-to-on-premises.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
  • Assist in architecting and implementing integration solutions, optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement API management strategies using Boomi API Gateway.
  • Develop and publish RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
  • Manage and control access to APIs, enforcing security policies and managing API lifecycles.
  • Monitor and analyse API performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks, security policies and managing API lifecycles.

  • Good to Have (Preferred) Dell Boomi Associate or Professional Certification Exposure to Boomi API Management, Master Data Hub, or Boomi Flow.
  • Experience integrating with SaaS applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, or Workday.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, API security, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Exposure to message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
  • Basic scripting skills (JavaScript / Groovy) for Boomi scripting elements.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
